ISO 9001:2000

Process Simulation and Optimisation

We have been appointed sole UK and Ireland agents for Ingenious of Houston who specialise in Planning and Scheduling software for the process industries.

This now enables us to offer a complete solution incorporating Process Simulation, On-line Optimisation, in conjunction with the Planning and Scheduling functions, for complex process plant.

Solens Consultants Ltd (SCL) are specialist performance risk consultants to the finance, minerals and petroleum sectors. They make extensive use of CHEMCAD in their business activities which the following paper on Mineral Processing Simulations demonstrates. This paper provides a powerful example of a custom developed UnitOp using Visual Basic coding. Chemstations software modules can now be interfaced with Microsoft Excel platform to provide powerful on-line process optimisation capabilities.

We offer a course on the use of on-line process optimisation techniques which was recently presented in Houston; example movie available for download in .exe format.

We are carrying out an MSc sponsored project with Teesside University applying these techniques to a continuous distillation process.

We are now system integrators for Prodigy SCADA software extending our capabilities into offering customised Process Training Simulators.

Bespoke Software

Our new software suite has now been launched called ENVIROKIT, it will provide designers and plant operators with the capability to meet the ever-increasing reporting demands of environmental legislation. Programs are stand-alone with individual report format and User Manuals with supporting documentation and theory.
