P & I Design Current Employment Opportunities

P & I Design Ltd is a privately owned company established in 1978. Due to ongoing success and for succession planning reasons we are seeking individuals in the following disciplines. In the first interest please send expressions of interest to Debbie Smith [email protected]

PLC/SCADA Software Engineer

This role would suit a graduate in instrumentation and control engineering or an instrument technician looking for new experience. P & I Design Ltd utilise PLC & SCADA technology as their preferred control system platform. Experience in PLC & SCADA programming is not essential as we have well established procedures and methods for software development, we will provide training and supervision as necessary. It is essential however that the person has a good engineering brain and the character and attributes to work both as part of a team and as an individual as our current projects dictate.

Instrument Engineer

The role of instrument engineer at P & I Design Ltd is multi-faceted. We have a strong belief that the best designers are those who are involved in a project end to end. There is an expectation that the projects you manage and design you would also test and commission. We do not wish to receive applications from Prima-Donna engineers. The role, whilst not for everyone, offers a huge variety of scope, you will not be bored.

The role would suit graduate engineers as well as suitably experience technicians.

Instrument Designer

Working for the engineering team in realising conceptual instrument / electrical designs into documented design packages. Experience in AutoCAD / progeCAD or similar is essential. The person must be flexible and efficient in performing their duties as our project based environment requires constant re-scheduling of priorities.

We re-iterate that for all the above positions we are seeking the correct person not just the correct CV. Training will be provided as necessary.
